Reviews Summary
Grad Sunca City of the Sun offers a range of leisure and sports facilities, with its water park being a highlight for families. However, visitor experiences are often mixed due to issues with staff professionalism, the availability of amenities like swimming rings, and a reliance on cash payments. The cold pool water and inconsistent opening hours for facilities like the spa also detract from the overall experience for some.
"It's a lovely tourist complex in Trebinje. There're plenty of leisure facilities within the place, nice restaurants and sports facilities. Clean, well maintained and definitely worth visiting for a refreshing pause or a longer stay."

"We had fun... It is not perfect, but you can find fun, especially if you bring kids... They will enjoy to play at couple of places..."

"We have now visited Trebinje 3 times, each time visiting the park. The first time we were there, there were lots of people and lots of swimming rings - the second time we were there, there were less people and less swimming rings - and now the third time we are here, where almost no people and absolutely almost no swimming rings - but in return it has become more expensive to visit the park.
After 3pm the locals come to the park and when they arrive, there is some form of "bathing ring mafia", where everyone has taken ownership of the few bathing rings that are there, even if they are not used, but are still in their possession.
You'd think that those who work there can create a little balance in things, but they don't really care, and it seems like they're more concerned with texting via their phone than getting down to their job - whatever that is.
Staff generally seem quite arrogant and uncaring as well as extremely unprofessional - which is quite worrying to think about they have to look after your children in the pool - which is really cold.
Other things that have puzzled me now after my 3 years visiting the park - why can't you pay with a visa in the park, but only for entrance? Doesn't make sense and doesn't appeal to people who want to spend money in the park. Internet, why is it not available in the park for guests when mobile internet sucks big time in Bosnia?
If I had to give my recommendation 3 years ago, I would probably have given the place 4-5 stars, but today I am extremely disappointed with the development the park has received."
