Xakanaxa Lodge is overwhelmingly praised as a top-tier safari destination, with many calling it their favorite. Guests consistently highlight the exceptional guides, luxurious tented accommodations, and delicious food. The lodge's commitment to sustainability and its prime location in Moremi Game Reserve contribute to an unforgettable experience.
"We stayed at five camps during our three week stay in Central Africa. Camp Xakanaxa was by far our favorite. A big reason why we loved it so much was due to the efforts of our guide, GB. This guy is dedicated to assuring that everyone had a great experience while in Moremi Game Reserve. GB got us to view so much wildlife and put us in a place to get great photos. He was very patient with our many questions about the wildlife, plants, birds and culture in Botswana.
We were thrilled to see lions, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, wildebeest, Cape buffalo and even a pack of African wild dogs.
We came away from Camp Xakanaxa with great memories and experiences like we saw with Marlin Perkins and Jim Fowler on Mutual of Omaha s Wild Kingdom when we were kids."

"This is a truly extraordinary jewel of a place. We experienced incredibly hospitable and friendly staff, beautifully conceived and well maintained rooms, good wifi throughout the camp, wonderful imaginative food, and last but not least the services of Taylor, a superb guide with tracking skills that led us to wild dogs and lions. Go there!"

"I have been to Africa 4 times now and this is BY FAR the best lodge I have stayed at. The staff/location/good/organisation was absolutely FLAWLESS. You got the luxury of 5 stars and are in the middle of nature. Our guide TS was hilarious, always had a smile on his face and knew the answer to any question asked. Will come back. It is worth the price."
