"Se um pouquinho de história não faz mal a ninguém, está aí um bonito prédio de muita história para a cidade de Canoas. Não pode ser vista apenas como uma simples e histórica estação de trens. Mas sim que foi a partir dela que nasceu a cidade, durante a construção da ferrovia. Felizmente bem preservada e conservada, no centro da cidade, e servindo hoje para encontros de grupos culturais."
