Unplanned trip to Salvador - Bahia (Brazil) for the weekend to solve some problems, ended up with this view of the fort and Farol da Barra (old lighthouse). You can go inside the fort (it’s cheap), there’s a museum there, and up the lighthouse, awesome view! Also, there are beaches all around!

Salvador feels a bit sketchy in parts but I loved this area. I was there for three weeks back in 2015 learning Portuguese. One of my favourite things to do was just wake up early for a 7am swim right where all these people are (except none of them are there at that time!)
