Reviews Summary

Bosque da Barra is appreciated for its natural beauty, wildlife sightings like capybaras and alligators, and its suitability for picnics and family outings. However, some visitors find access challenging without a car and note limitations in park infrastructure, such as the drying lake and lack of amenities.

"First time visited this park…it is nice place for trail walk along the proper path, can picnic and also saw some animals like the alligators, birds, and of course luckily got spot one cabybara dipping in container filled with water. Sadly the lake is drying up. Hope for a rainy day soon."

"Yes, can confirm~"

"Really hard to get to without a car. The nearest BRT stop is 10 min away. No wifi to get uber so you need to risk your life to cross the highway to the famous Cervantes Restaurant to get wifi. Its a very run down park with few locals, but that's a reason why the animals haven't moved away. We saw alligator and micos, no capybara on the day we went though. You can rent bicycles but the park is so small you don't need to."
