What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the breathtaking views and the sheer beauty of the Cachoeirão Pati Viewpoint and the surrounding canyon. The challenging trek is often described as rewarding, offering an unforgettable adventure. However, some note the potential for the waterfall to be dry during the dry season and emphasize the critical importance of safety due to the precarious cliff edges.
"Amazing view to the canyon. But during dry season there are no water"
Андрей Демидов
"What's not to like about this place? We went during a dry spell and there was NO water coming out of the falls but certainly worth the views/experience of the hike!
I want to say that this can be a dangerous place because it can get windy and there is nothing underneath the rock where people take pictures so one slip/fall and you are gone forever. I say that to say just please be careful there. Your life isn't worth an Instagram picture! Aside from that there are plenty of photo opportunities around the area and the vastness of the land speaks a thousand words!
It took us 2 additional hours from the mirante do vale do Pati to get here and we got lost twice since nothing is marked. Definitely use Google maps satellite view and keep an eye on the trails you are on to ensure you don't get lost!
Bring lots of water, snacks and sunscreen and try to do the trail in hiking boots rather than tennis shoes.
Happy trails!"
