Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Canastra Cheese Route for its outstanding service, excellent quality cheeses, and the beautiful rural scenery. The farms offer a genuine taste of tradition, with producers passionate about their craft and community. It's a highly recommended experience for anyone seeking authentic Brazilian flavors and a connection to the countryside.

"Outstanding service, excellent cheeses, beautiful view. Overall, our favorite place on Serra da Canastra."

Nilton Renno

"A bucolic farm, with easy access from the city of São Roque de Minas, where the visitors can get to know a little better the production process of the canastra cheese (very traditional product from the region).

The farm also offers a taste of the different sorts of canastra produced by them, and typical Brazilian sweets as doce de leite (available for purchase afterwards).

I particularly did find it interesting, that Roça da Cidade represents a conciliatory effort between modernity (including sanitary protocols and hygiene techniques), and the traditional handmade production of canastra cheese, with fair production concerns.

Definitely worth the visit."

Flávia Regina de Campos Kasai

"Perfect place to find excellent cheese with lots of knowledge, passion, and engagement in bringing prosperity to the cheese manufacturing community in the region.
Great experience!"
