What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Casa de Petrópolis Institute of Culture for its well-preserved original furnishings and the insightful guided tours that bring history to life. The unique 'House of Seven Errors' architecture adds an intriguing element. While the upper floor isn't always accessible and there's a desire for more physical barriers to protect the artifacts, the affordable price and punctual tours make it a highly recommended visit.
"I didn’t want to go inside as my wife has already dragged me to old manors all over Europe… But this was different, mainly because this house still has all its original furniture and fittings. The outside of the house could be better preserved, and the tour is short, but worth every centavo"
