What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
CEAGESP is a vibrant, massive market offering an unparalleled variety of fresh produce, flowers, and unique culinary experiences through its popular food festivals. Visitors rave about the quality, selection, and affordability, especially when shopping early. However, some note that during peak festival times, crowds can lead to long waits and a potential dip in food quality.
"Have being in many places in my entire life and never seeing something like here. You must come once to experience what I will try to describe. Imagine a giant open warehouse with lots of farmers. Yes I know we have farmers market in USA but nothing even close to Ceasa. These family own businesses come here for years. And all with incredible quality and variety. Sure you should do your own research and check prices but in general they are proud of what they are doing. We religiously come on Sunday morning and my dad has his route and favorite stops. But the one that he will always stop is in the coconut stand. Sorry but I dream with this coconut water that I can’t find anywhere other than here. Oh and bring a little cart or borrow there. You will need. Btw you won’t need lunch after your visit, because you will be offered so many amazing samples. Oh and don’t forget to get a pastel, kind an empanada on steroids fried right there with tones of options to choose and also the sugar cane juice (caldo de cana). Yummy"

"Best market, I got flowers for my son's wedding. Many options for a good price."

"When there is so many people, obviously the quality of food drops down proportionally on these food festivals. Taking in account the (high) price, it would try to keep as purposed. On busy hours you should wait about 2 hours."
