Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Centro de Arte Popular Cemig, calling it the 'best museum in BH!' The free entry and authentic display of Brazilian traditional art and folklore are major highlights. While some expected more, the majority found the exhibits deeply enjoyable and a true reflection of regional culture.
"No entry fee or ticket necessary to see this art center/museum.
All you need to do is sign your name in the book. I very much enjoyed this museum and all the art in it. Most of the art is somewhat religious in nature or deals with the lived experiences of people from the state and region.
On a Friday evening/afternoon there were very few visitors and we were the only ones in most of the exhibits. I believe there were six exhibits as of November 2024."
