Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Centro Histórico de Itanhaém for its deep historical significance and colonial architecture, offering a tangible link to Brazil's past. The Passarela de Anchieta is also a highlight for its natural beauty and historical connection. However, some reviewers note that the maintenance of certain historical structures could be improved, impacting the overall presentation.

"As an architect who is very focused on history, and also spend her whole life going to the city of Itanhaém, I am clearly biased about this place. Truth is, this complex of church and public building is among the oldest in the country, and presents us with a beautiful unmistakable colonial style. However, the lack of maintenance and funds for the preservation has been showing its signs more and more every year. It is definitely worth the visit for the historical importance."
