"We arrived just a bit after 4:00PM when it opened to have a magnificent view of the city and the Christ statue up close. We stuck around and had a few drinks while we waited for the illumination, first the face at 6:30 and then the body alternating among all of the colors at 7:00. It was a lovely evening. There is a restaurant there also but we went elsewhere."
