What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Cristo Redentor in Serra Negra for its breathtaking panoramic views and the scenic teleférico ride. The town itself is considered cute and worth a short trip, with some finding it not crowded even during holidays. However, the final ascent involves uneven stairs, which can be a physical challenge for some.
"Reaching the top is not for someone who is out of shape, it could even be a health risk for those with heart health issues. There is about 8meters of stairs to climb and the stairs are not so well made as some of them are low steps and some are hi steps, this can be a problem going back down too.
When you reach the top, however, you will be rewarded with a beautiful picturesque view of the town in the valley below. In my opinion it's worth the effort if your health will allow it. I really really enjoyed it and it is a memory I will savor for years to come."
