"a igreja é linda ! estava fechada por 4 anos devido ao período de restauro. em 2023 foi reberta . também fez alguns ajustes na torre sineira para eliminar os pombos. ali é barroco puro. ela fica localizada dentro do pátio de são pedro próximo a igreja do carmo (é bem pertinho) , igreja do livramento, basílica da penha, e nossa senhora do terço . a igreja tem 3 portas , só a do meio é que abre. 5 janelas e duas torres sineiras. ao entrar a igreja é ricamente decorada. com muita talha dourada especialmente o altar. a madeira é outro elemento que compõe a igreja. especialmente o jacarandá da porta e do assento da nave central (é uma madeira bem escura) a capacidade máxima dessa igreja é menos de 300 pessoas. a igreja é aberta de terça a quinta , de 8 e meia da manhã até as 3 da tarde. é considerada uma parada obrigatória para o turista."
