"I have to praise the Japaratinga Lounge Resort for its fantastic food, drink, and entertainment selection – truly exceptional. However, my experience was unfortunately soured by a few key issues.
First, the maintenance of the facilities is not up to par. My room had peeling paint, a moldy door, and a lock that didn't work properly. The Wi-Fi was also very poor. These are basic things a resort of this caliber should get right.
Second, there is an overpowering scent used throughout the resort's corridors. It was highly allergenic, and I wasn't the only guest suffering from sinus problems because of it. It seems this is used to cover up a general smell of mold and dampness.
Lastly, the resort feels very cramped. If you're looking for a spacious, open, and nature-filled beach resort, this might not be the place for you. The atmosphere is very much geared towards a 'seen and be seen' social media crowd, which wasn't the relaxing vibe I was after."

Pools were great, and musical attractions were excellent (more than one every day). The whole staff was extremely polite and kind. I will definitely return with the rest of my family."

"This place is incredible, the best 5 days I've had the opportunity to enjoy in a resort! The people working here is so kind and respectful, helping the guests in every moment! The food is perfect in every meal, and it is so delicious, there is also a variety of snacks at the beach bar. The infrastructure is awesome and complete, it did not missed a thing, even the beach bath is extremely cleaned. I've loved the rooms, the pools, the beach bar, everything is so amazing! You can enjoy shows everyday or at night at the pub or beach bar and the nature entertainment that is arranged by the hotel rocks! Have you forgotten your sunscream? There is a store at the resort where you can find everything you need!
