"It is not the hotel, but an overpriced apartment-hotel with no infrastructure and not even breakfast. Even the cheapest smallest hotels (“pousadas”) in Gramado/Canela offer breakfast. As the place is far away from everywhere, there are no grocery stores nearby either, but they are so greedy that they do not offer you coffee, sugar, milk or tea as courtesy – basic welcoming stuff. There are no working bars / restaurants either. If you have any problems or need anything, reception takes no responsibility. They simply tell you that you booked with the owner so you should talk to him/her, but you have no idea who that person is, and they do not live there. We did not use AirBnB, but a known hotel booking website stating that we were booking the “Hotel” Laje de Pedra Mountain Village Prime, not with any specific owner. The ad is false advertising as they publish photos of many different apartments, but they tell you that you cannot change rooms because you booked a specific unit. A 75yo lady fell off the sofa-bed while sleeping as it is very narrow. No value for money and very bad customer service."
