Reviews Summary
The Manaus Floating Dock is a vibrant, busy port offering scenic river views and a lively local market. While security has improved, visitors are advised to exercise caution, especially at night, and be prepared with local currency. It's a key departure point for Amazon adventures.
"It has improved a lot in security over the last 5 years, making it a safer place.
But ways are very long to walk or very expensive to get a Taxi in near the boat, charging for any car or passenger to use its faciities.
There are basic Bars and Sancks available, but I didn't use any of it."

"The city of over 2 million people situated on the Amazon and Rio Negro rivers. Its run down, a lot of slums and poverty, homeless in the streets. There is a police presence but do not go at night and go with a lot of people, safety in numbers when you do go. They don't accept American money anywhere, Brazilian or credit card. Went on a couple of tours away from the city which were nice."

"Good port to visit from cruise ship, this is the last port in to Amazon river, the place is full of local exploration, market, food , clubs all there, but safety is the little concern, however there are port authorities to help you always, cheap for shopping and scenic view of Amazon river is good here, the city is well known for its natural products like fish and fruits.
Worth giving a visit"
