Reviews Summary

Olho de Boi Beach is a unique, secluded nude beach praised for its natural beauty and liberating atmosphere. Visitors appreciate the privacy and the chance to disconnect, though the steep, potentially slippery hike and high prices at the beach bar are noted drawbacks. It's a destination for the adventurous and respectful traveler.

"A special beach for the adventurous and respectful

This secluded nude beach in Búzios is a hidden gem for those looking to experience something off the beaten path. There’s no cell phone reception, so be ready to disconnect completely—which is honestly part of the charm.

⚠️ Important to know: This is an official nude beach, and there’s a clear sign that marks the point where nudity is required. Please respect the rules and the space—this is a safe environment for body freedom and acceptance, not for spectators or inappropriate behavior.

👫 Ladies—I recommend visiting with a partner or group rather than alone, just to feel more comfortable due to the isolated nature of the location.

💵 Bring plenty of cash! There was a super friendly guy selling drinks and chips when we visited. His caipirinhas were strong and delicious, though pricey—around 50 reais each. There are no shops, no ATMs, and no cards accepted.

🥾 Getting there requires a steep, natural trail, and if it rains, it becomes very muddy and slippery. If you’re not used to hiking or uneven paths, be careful—this trail is not for everyone.

Final Tip: This is a beautiful, liberating spot—but it requires respect, preparation, and a sense of adventure. If that sounds like you, it’s well worth the experience."

"Beautiful nudist beach with a gay crusing area nearby! You can reach it after a 20-minutes hike. In the afternoon, there is also some shadow to hide from the sun :)"

Ondřej Žák

"Gorgeous small nudist sandy beach with a bar right on the beach providing drinks chairs and umbrellas though naturally not cheap.
You walk past praia Brava and at the end then follow trilha sign approximately 20 minutes walk uphill and then down through vegetation.
If you feel like some extra exercise you may walk up the rocks on either side of this beach to get fabulous views especially on the right hand side. If you are lucky you will see some turtles."
