"A praia é muito bonita, a água é de uma coloração bem clara, possui poucas ondas, é bem calma para nadar, pois tem umas fileiras de pedras feitas e com navios petroleiros por perto. É bom para as crianças entrarem na água, pois é bem tranquilo, inclusive sempre tem várias pessoas se banhando na praia. A areia é bem densa e grossa, formando muitas ondulações de desnível ao redor da praia, sendo bem pesado para andar. O mar é calmo ali e os navios de trabalho petrolíferos estão sempre ancorados ao mar, dando pra observar bastante. Há muitas aves na beirada da praia junto à areia também, esperando a oportunidade de uma refeição vinda do mar. É um ótimo local de passeio, muito lindo, bem natural, bom para apreciar a vista e o barulho do mar, as ondas e com vários quiosques pela orla da praia. O calçadão é bem grande, largo e extenso, tem muitas barracas, tem até feira livre de mercadorias alimentícias, com uma praça de tamanho bom, bem pintada, conservada, organizada, com muitos bancos de assento, academias de exercícios físicos ao ar livre e um grande beiral com observação para o mar. Tem muito transito por ali. Não há estacionamento de veículos por perto por ali. Há sempre um guarda local passando de quadricículo na areia pra acompanhar o movimento, mas em determinados horários não passa ninguém. O local é bem bonito e aconchegante. Na praia não tem sombra nenhuma, então se for curtir essa praia é bom levar guarda-sol para ficar na areia. Há bastante caiaques para aluguel na orla da praia e também os caiaques privados das pessoas, com vários banhistas usando os caiaques no mar. Também havia muitos animais de estimação com seus donos passeando e brincando na orla da praia e entrando na água. Na cidade tem muita exploração e comércio de petróleo, é uma cidade bem grande e comercial, dando para ver os pontos de plataformas de petróleo em alguns lugares, com navios grandes e adaptações para tal manejamento. Pra quem não conhece o local de passeio é só colocar a localização no Google Maps que marca a rota direitinho sem erro nenhum. Eu fiz o passeio vindo de Macaé, então passei pelas orlas das praias de Macaé para depois chegar nessa praia. Recomendo muito o passeio para os amantes da natureza e aventureiros."
