"If you are into history, then check this palace. The Cruz e Sousa Palace is home to the Santa Catarina Historical Museum. It has a neoclassical style and is named after the symbolist poet Cruz e Sousa. It is originally built to serve as the governor's residence. Construction began in the mid-18th century but faced numerous interruptions. It wasn't until the late 19th century that the palace was completed and officially became the seat of the state government.
