What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Parque da Cidade Jacareí is a relatively new park with potential, offering basic recreational facilities like playgrounds and sports fields. While it's a pleasant local spot, some visitors find it lacks the charm and investment of neighboring parks, with suggestions for improved landscaping and maintenance. It can host lively festivals, but on-site amenities like the snack bar may be closed.
"This park is relatively new and lacks investment. The park is around 4 years old, I went there with a friend and their daughter.
Compared to neighbouring São José dos Campos' Parque da cidade this park is small, and lacks any real character or charm.... With continued investment to maintain the park, this may improve as the flora matures.
But if you can get to São José dos Campos then the Parque da cidade in Santana Is much better. Also while in SJC be sure to check out Parque Vicentina Aranha, smallish but beautiful mature trees and a lot or them.
Playground for children, lanchonete closed, decorative water fountain was already looking derelict.
With time and money and greater landscaping this park has potential."
