The hike is considered rewarding, though some caution that it can be steep and slippery. The nearby beaches are also a significant draw for their beauty and tranquility.
"Challenging hike with splendid views. Just be cautious - its slippery especially after the rain. If you want to reach the peak you would need ropes or lot of experience with the rocks."

"I LOVE this mountain.... It's like a mini sugar loaf that's sitting on the oceans edge! How cool??!! Hahaha plus the view looks like your in Asia.
The beach is great and it's safe. Guys offer surfing lessons for like 80 reals... It's a pretty good deal! Hiking the top of Pontal Stone takes about 15 minutes and the beginning is very steep! In the summer the Sandy walk way to the stone is under water so you'll have to Wade through on a Sandbar... It's still very easy! You have to check this place out!"

"Great view at the top and easy to reach. Definitely worth it to do this small hike"
