"The waterfall is wonderful. It's a famous spot in the village. The road that provides access to this site is awful, it's in the worst state of conservation that could possibly exist. It's a shame. There is a restaurant across the road ("Quintal da Casa"), and the owner is very friendly and creative. The restaurant has a balcony with 360° views of the waterfall, and quite often he's offering dinner with a view and live band music. It's a superb place to visit, but wear good shoes as the stairs leading down to the water is slippery, and usually wet. The water is cold and may require good swimming skills, as currents are a bit strong, and, right next to where people descend from the stairs, the waterfall forms a deep pool big enough for a big group to dive in together, but beware of the weather to safely enjoy it. It's also a well-known place for cliff diving, so some people will just prefer to jump into the water from the highest point of the bedrocks. The village nearby is also amazingly nice and cozy. There are tons of bars, restaurants and shops offering good quality stuff. Not to be missed."
