Reviews Summary

Praia de Caraíva is widely praised as a natural paradise with stunning beaches, tranquil lagoons, and a unique car-free village experience. Visitors love its rustic charm and peaceful atmosphere, though some find beach bars and dining options can be pricey.

"Very beautiful beach this place was so natural and worth the walk highly recommend nice water and sand"

Dj Ravermonkey

"It's a real paradise. A stunning blue sea beach surrounded by coconut palms and thee breath taking lagoons of fresh, translucent waters.

There are some beach bars along the beach. The walk up to the 3th lagoon is long but really pleasant. I highly recommend going up to the encounter of the waters, most beautiful one I've ever seen.

Bring plenty of water and sunscreen as it's hot up there. In my case, a winter day that was marking up to 27°C. It's also a good idea bringing some snacks as bars might not be open depending if it's low or high season. You can check that up with locals.

It is also important to ask the locals who make the river crossing (it takes about 3 minutes) about the tide of the day; if it is low, you can return by 6pm, but if it is high, you should return earlier to the boarding point. They will let you know the exact times."

Ariadne Gizele Ribeiro

"Most beautiful beach in the region."
