More importantly, Superquadra 308 South (SQS 308 Sul) - built between 1958 and 1961 by Banco do Brasil to house its employees - has not only endured the passage of time but flourished in it. Now approaching 65 years old, it wears its age with grace. When we visited, the neighborhood pulsed with life: vibrant, welcoming, and impeccably maintained. There was a palpable sense of community and belonging - every sign of a place not just surviving, but thriving.
The superquadra is also home to the very charming and pretty Igrejinha Nossa Senhora de Fátima, the first masonry church in Brasília, inaugurated in 1958. It’s quite a gem!"
