What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Youth Hill Dzhendem Tepe is appreciated for its stunning panoramic city views and unique summit features like the abandoned swimming pool. While the cobblestone paths offer a pleasant walk, some find the amenities limited and caution is advised around the unfenced pool. It's considered a good spot for a stroll and enjoying the scenery, rather than an all-day destination.
"Great views of Plovdiv all the way up including across to Alosha.
A very winding trail up.. all cobbled laid by young people as the books will tell. Some very good short cuts across some of the huge bends. Some atvlower part lead to dead ends. Cobbles were a bit slippery from water runoff after a few days heavy rain... more than ordinary trainers recommended.
The empty swimming pool is still at the top."

"Great view of the city and the area around it.
There was a giant fire in town, that looked great at sunset."

"Don’t expect something special. It’s an ordinary park to stroll around. There are some benches where you can have some rest and drink a coffee. By the way there are only a few places where you can buy it. There is a space for kids but it’s not so big as it could be. There is a train, mostly for kids, nothing special for adults. Moving on the train is much interesting rather than the panoramic where it stops.
Fountains are empty. Pathways are not so flat. IMHO you could spend a couple of hours there, not a whole day.
BTW there are only a few parking spaces!!!"

The Unique Summit Landscape
While the empty pool offers a unique visual, visitors are strongly cautioned to be mindful of its depth and the lack of fencing, especially when accompanied by children.
