We're talking about a measly 3.5km ride that'll cost you around 10 euros - that's Western European Uber pricing for what should be a quick local trip!
Value for Money:
The accommodation prices are just not justified by what you actually get. Most hotels and apartments are overpriced for the level of service and amenities they offer. You're paying premium rates for a mediocre experience.
Beach Situation:
Don't expect to find many free beach spots - most areas seem to be privatized or require payment. It really felt like every decent stretch of sand had a price tag attached.
Bottom Line:
This was another letdown from Bulgaria's Black Sea coast, which sadly isn't surprising anymore. If you're looking for good value where your money actually matches the experience, I'd honestly recommend checking out Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, or Turkey instead. These places know how to treat tourists right without breaking the bank.
For those willing to spend a bit more, Italy and France rarely disappoint - you get what you pay for and then some.
My take: Skip Kavatsite unless you enjoy overpaying for underwhelming experiences. There are way better coastal destinations out there that respect both your wallet and your vacation time.
