"Beautiful mosque in Plateau area of Abidjan. From the outside wonderful architecture and inside even better. I was lucky enough to visit on Friday during prayer to see just how many people can fit in and I waited until after prayers to go inside so I don’t bother anyone. There was someone there that was nice enough to take me around and spoke enough English to pass on some great bits of information."

"It was totally empty at the time of our visit.
The gatekeeper was warm, however he does not have an office. We found him seating and sleeping on a plastic chair facing the gate with his legs up on the walls.
A proper office could help avoid such a spectacul.
In addition, the directorate needs to pinpoint and publish how non Muslim women have to be dressed to visit the mosque as some unfriendly manners from men on the site could dommage the mosque's reputation."
