What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Praia de São Pedro is lauded for its stunning natural beauty, clear waters, and the unique opportunity to see sea turtles. Visitors appreciate its clean, tranquil atmosphere, largely due to controlled access which limits crowds. However, the lack of amenities means visitors must be fully self-sufficient, and the beach can be quite windy.
"Probably the best spot to swim on Sao Vicente. Go near San Pedro after you do a hike to the lighthouse or on ridges above the beach"

"Beautiful beach like in the movies. You can do water sports there or you can go snorkelling with turtles. There are a lot of local people who want to sell you a trip to see the turtles but you can take your own equipment and just swim less than 50m from the shore to see them for free.
Also, there are a lot of seashells on the beach, but they are all broken because of rocks. It's not very easy to sunbathing there because of the strong wind (at least in february)."

"Beautiful, clean beach, depending on the day of the week, you'll be alone at the beach for the most part, and if you pay enough attention, maybe you'll see some turtles! Nice place to stay and spend some time at the beach with your family and friends, so give it a try!"
