"Beautiful nature. I went up to one of the surrounding hotels and rented a Kayak for 5$ for 2 hours. Super calming to just be on the water sailing through the surroundings. But as many have commented previously - unfortunately there really is a lot of plastic swimming around in these waters. I was hoping I could go for a quick dip but the water was so disgusting - I wouldnβt dare. So sad to see this beautiful place so discarded."

"Lovely hour of canoeing around the green waterways of Kampot. The river was mostly clean, just some rubbish further along. The boss was very kind and gave is some watermelon when we finished. He then sang us a little song! One of our party wasn't canoeing and he stayed and chatted with her and was very friendly and accommodating"
