"Super beautiful place in Cambodia. Really worth the more than 500 steps climb. Fortunately, no monkeys when I visited last Tuesday. Remember to take out your shoes when reaching the temple.
However, just make sure you have pre booked your transport back to town, or hope that there are police or military personnel bringing you to somewhere that can take tuk tuk. Also got a group of children who may follow you."

"I rented a motorbike in Phnom Penh and made my way here which is very doable and fun if you are not scared of riding the bike.
The main market before you can walk up the sights was a bit run down but I guess that is part of the appeal. You can walk up and down this hill from at least 4 or 5 different angles so good fun to explore a bit. A bit of a hike and sightseeing at the same time.
Bring some small Riel notes (1000s best) as there are quite some kids and elderly people cleaning the stairs or selling flowers so good to assist them."

"Gorgeous gaffe. Hit it early to climb the steps (get dropped off at the top of up street where the climb is shorter and up shallower steps then come down the steep steps to the market. Properly beautiful and great views and love the old stupas as well. We visisted on a public holiday so great to hang out with the Khmer crowds although we got there early to avoid the heat"
