"It was pretty hard to get to. We had to ask a few local motor bike taxi men to find someone who could lead us to a boat dock that would take us next to the reserve on the river. It's quite a drive from Douala and the road can be pretty dusty.
We went on the boat with pieces of bread and we got to see the monkeys while sitting on the boats and throwing bread at them. It's a pretty close up experience and we had a pretty good time.
The man at the boat recommended that visiting early morning is better because monkeys would be out of the trees and on the beach area, hanging out."
