Where to see the Northern lights and where!

I really want to see them but I don’t have a car or access to one. I was thinking of going to the arboretum. I’ve found some apps and stuff but they don’t seem that accurate. When should I go to see them?! Everyone else seems to be having a lot more success than I am, so thought…

How much time would you say is sufficient for Morton Arboretum?

Would you say 3 hours is enough time? Would I feel like I missed out on a lot? I’ve never been there so I have no clue. I’m the type of person to take my time and spend a good amount of time looking at something rather than someone that walks past things quickly.

"We went there in the first week of May to see the blooming daffodils in the area named “Field of Gold” which is close to Woodruff Crescent. Nice open field with thousands of blooming daffodils, about 3 or 4 varieties can be found. There are several benches nearby where one can sit and enjoy. Excellent spot to snap some photos too."

"We dropped in on Saturday morning. The parking is plentiful and free. Also admission is free. The Arboretum had lots of beautiful trees with labels describing the tree. There was lots of memorial benches that were dedicated by a loved one. There is a large pond with swans. The park is clean and well manicured with garbage cans. And there’s two baseball fields, skate board park, a soccer field and two volleyball courts a nice playground. Plus a community Center with a pool. This park is a hidden jewel. And there’s lots of trails and paths. You could spend hours here. It’s a great place to ride your bike, take your kids or your dog for a walk."
