Drone Video over a Pond in South Barrie

Nice... Waiting to receive my first drone in the next few days... Since you recorded this during winter, did you have any bad experience at all with your drone? I mean, usually with the super cold temperatures batteries tend to consume faster. Or any other issues at all?

However, some find the parking fees to be a deterrent for what is essentially a single attraction.

"It's hard to miss this historical piece when you're driving in from the south. Located just along the shoreline, stands the Spirit Catcher that's free to access and view 24/7, with ample free parking when we visited on a weekend afternoon.
There's an info plate too, commemorating the artist who sculpted this piece of art from the 1986 Expo in Vancouver, BC. I enjoyed seeing this sculpture as it stands tall and stable."

"Great place to reflect on Canadian history and have a moment of reflection. Ron Baird's Spirit Catcher. He states that the inspiration for his sculpture stemmed from the oral traditions of the Anishinaabe. I photographed this sculpture using a Kodak Brownie Bullet. This camera was manufactured in the same year that numerous residential schools opened their doors. For example the "Amos Indian Residential School" (1955-1973) was essentially a concentration camp where thousands of innocent children were mercilessly abused at the hands of the Church. When I removed the film roll my finger slipped and the 127 spool loosened a lot. They allowed for massive light leaks and caused major damage before I secured it. The damage to the film stock is indicative of the damage done to the European and Anishinaabe relationship. Furthermore the light leaks appear as if they are erasing the sculpture much like Canada's efforts to erase Indigenous people."

"There is nothing but one sculpture, for that will have to pay 10 dollars for just one hour parking. Does not worth it"
