Parking is pretty straightforward and hiking sticks are a must. You need to pas through here to get to the glacial area that is the view of a lifetime"

"We stopped once around 7:30am on our drive to the Columbia Icefields. Then later that afternoon on our drive back to Lake Louise. Both views were beautiful, but the lakes color was more vibrant in the afternoon. This viewpoint made it easy to take in views from the entire Lake. Nice stop!"

"Super pretty deep blue lake that is super expansive. Great place to stop and take a break on the Icefields Parkway. Plenty of parking although not the easiest to get on and off the parkway as there can be long lines of cars and low visibility in the curve."
