What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Vieux-Bromont for its exceptional charm, picturesque streets, and welcoming atmosphere, making it a delightful escape. The quality of local food and the vibrant Sunday market are frequently highlighted as major draws. While the beauty and ambiance are widely appreciated, some visitors note that the pace of play can be slow at the local golf course, and parking can be challenging during peak market times.
"I’ve recently fallen in love with this golf course. The maintenance is A1, better than courses twice or three times the price. The carts are electric and have a built in tablet to keep score and give you real time distances (with front, middle and back of the green yardage) I usually don’t enjoy being paired up with strangers but Jaques & Lilly were really pleasant to play with and had a great time with Claude & Gilles as well.
On the website they stress the pace of play but we’ve only played in the afternoon and it seems to be a bit slower, with no one on the course to make sure it runs faster. But the scenery and course make up for it easily.
The greens are really challenging and actually play how they read. The people that do the pin placements seem to have a blast making it tough for everyone. I strongly suggest you stay below the hole cause if you’re putting downhill, it’s either in the hole or 10 past, there’s no in between.
The course is challenging while remaining enjoyable and at a great price. Staff and other golfers are really friendly, you can’t ask for more from a golf course. Worth the drive from Montreal without question. Me and my son’s new favorite spot"

"Beautiful course. Everything in great condition. Sand traps need some love. Loses a star for pace of play. Shouldn't take 5 hours to play on a Sunday morning."

"A course in great condition and fun to play. We booked a late-day tee time, and checked in early. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The starter asked if we were ready to go, and sent us on to the tee box since there was nobody waiting. We walked the course, which was easy to do as the terrain is mostly flat and the distances between holes were not very long, although it did meander through a residential area. The tee boxes and greens were in excellent shape. If you keep your tee shots in play, you can score well on this course. My wife, playing from the green tees, also really enjoyed the course. Pace was quick other than hole 9, where we caught up to some players who had started on 10 earlier in the day. Course design, conditions and prices will keep us coming back. It can be a bit difficult to get an early tee time for visitors, so plan ahead."
