What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Brossard Aquatic Complex for its clean, modern facilities, including excellent sauna and steam rooms, and a fun family zone with slides and a lazy river. However, some have experienced frustration with unexpected pool closures and a lack of flexibility from management during disruptions, as well as concerns about shower water temperature.
"We came with a family of four and one paid guest on Monday evening. A kid pooped in the kids' pool. They shut down everything except for the area where scheduled aqua classes were going on. If you say that the pools and both saunas are connected to each other, please explain publicly how on earth the pool where scheduled classes are held is not "connected" to the rest of the pools, and why those people were allowed to stay in the pool.
First, we came with a paid visitor, and you must offer a refund.
Secondly, we came with two kids, and they were super bored having to wait for 40 minutes until another pool opened up.
You shut down one pool, but you should accommodate people who came to the pool by opening the second pool, which was not in use or being cleaned.
To the administration: Be flexible enough to serve the customers; do not be resistant to the rules. Think outside the box—this is not an emergency; it's just common sense. What's the point of shutting down two pools and two saunas, making people wait when you actually do nothing in the meantime?
If you say that there aren't enough people to staff the second pool (which was empty), just reassign the existing staff to work in the second pool. This situation should never cause a problem (if you've actually cared). If not, our kids were freezing while waiting for 40 minutes just for the clock to tell your staff it's time to open the other pool door.
P.S.: The shower water is not warm; it should be warmer. My kid had blue lips."

"Good place, paid 10 dólars to get in, swimmed, got some sauna and that's it.
It's an interior pool, so it is possible to go in the winter too."

"Two sections to the new and beautiful aquatic center, one side is slides, hoop games, a lazy river, the water is so warm! The other side you can do laps and a free range pool side. I was amazed at the sauna and steam room, such high quality, the only thing is dont expect the jet spa to be hot, it's the same temp as the pool, it's beautiful though with rushing waterfall feature and strong jets , a nice way to cool off after the sauna or steam room, the changing room are co-ed, from what I experienced, I was able to find a locker quickly even on a Saturday afternoon. Absolutely Amazing complexe, it's 15$ for non residents and way cheaper for locals, i only wish i lived closer i would come here every single day."

Navigating Pool Disruptions
When such events occur, the administration's response can be critical. Visitors expect prompt communication and a proactive approach to minimize inconvenience. This might involve reassigning staff or opening alternative pools sooner. The experience of children getting cold while waiting underscores the need for a customer-centric approach, even during unexpected events.
For future visitors, it's wise to have a backup plan or be prepared for potential downtime. Understanding the facility's policies on refunds or credits in case of significant disruptions is also advisable.
Understanding the Aquatic Zones
The other section is designed for more focused aquatic activities. This includes a lap pool for serious swimmers looking to get their exercise and a free-range pool that offers more open space for general swimming and water play. This dual-zone approach ensures that both recreational swimmers and fitness enthusiasts can find a suitable environment.
Beyond the pools, the complex boasts high-quality sauna and steam room facilities, providing a perfect way to relax and rejuvenate after a swim. While the jet spa is a beautiful feature with a waterfall, it's noted that it maintains a cooler temperature, serving more as a refreshing dip than a hot tub experience.
Resident Perks and Pricing
For those visiting from outside Brossard, it's crucial to factor in this higher admission cost when planning your budget. While the facility offers excellent amenities, the price difference can be a notable consideration for day-trippers or tourists.
Beyond general admission, the complex also offers swimming programs for children with various levels and helpful coaches. For adults, there's a desire for more evening availability in swimming lessons, indicating a strong community engagement with the facility's offerings.
