"If you’re in Burnaby, BC, Canada, treat yourself to this gem of a view and view the rose garden behind the restaurant facility. View spectacular sunsets from the hillside.
There is no other better west view vantage than this one. It’s free and easily accessible by car, bicycle and transit. Personally, l take my bicycle onto skytrain, catch bus # 145 up to the Simon Fraser University, ride down the road past the last road on the left ( then look for accesses to your right ) the slightest amount of going over some grass because the main pathway is under construction for an in tge event of an emergency, corridor escape route the university. If you hit the stop light you went to far but you can turn right, ride downhill and turn in where the cars do, and you can access the conservation area in hillside that way. At the moment, the hillside is temporarily fenced in for some construction, but you can still get a great! view from the restaurant and parking lot area."

"Burnaby Mountain offers a breathtaking view that perfectly blends nature and cityscapes. Yesterday, I visited with family and friends and was captivated by the panoramic scenes of Vancouver, Burrard Inlet, and the surrounding mountains. The park's well-maintained trails are ideal for a relaxing walk, and the lush greenery provides a refreshing escape from the urban hustle. The totem poles and the Playground of the Gods add a touch of cultural significance to the visit. It's a perfect spot for a family outing, offering both beauty and tranquility."
