"During a visit to Calgary we met many very nice people in museums, restaurants, hotels and on the street - many of which took time to (thankfully) assist us. We tried to visit the historic city hall. The historic portion which was originally built, the restored and continuously maintained with PUBLIC funds, is closed to the public. Why? So councilors, representatives and city managers can enjoy this beautiful historic structure - at the expense of the public. Shameful."
