Reviews Summary

Many recommend it as a must-do near Yellowknife, highlighting the beauty that often surpasses expectations. Some wish they had brought swimwear or picnic items to fully enjoy the location.
"Went on a solo hike on a Friday afternoon in late May. It was a lovely sunny day with temperatures around 18c.
The hike took about 25-30 minutes each way. It's not a difficult hike, but there is a fair amount of variance in the terrain from flat, to inclines, with rocks to climb over. It is best to have good shoes.
The ice was all melted on the trail and it was mostly dry. Ideal time of the year as still very quiet and no mosquitoes.
The Falls are very beautiful and I like how they have put a bridge in so you can see from both sides. I wish I had brought some food to sit and have a picnic there.
Highly recommended. Allow at least 3 hours minimum with the drive to/from Yellowknife and the time to hike there and back. 4 hours would be better. There is outhouses, but no other services at the site"
