It's seen as a great stop for planning trips to Banff and enjoying the mountain views. Some note limited hours and that the RV dump station is permanently closed.

"Excellent Visitor Centre and Josh was most helpful in pointing out the microbreweries in the area and his recommendation at Canmore Brewery was excellent. Displays are informative and one just has to request any information needed; plenty of parking space for shuttle picks up for viewing the mountains!"

Jaya Chauhan

"May 2024 Nice rest area. No overnight parking signs. R V dump station says permanently closed.
Looks like they still have water, though.
We were camping in Waputi campground next door. They don't have a dump station either.
Also, it looks like they have large RV spots blocked off for pull thru. You will need to back out."

Jean Griffiths

"A great place to stop on the way to Banff National Park. I wish it had slightly longer hours given its ideal location. Clean. Scenic."
