Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about Castle Provincial Park's stunning natural beauty, particularly its riverfront camping and the rewarding hike to North Drywood Falls. The well-maintained, new campgrounds are a significant plus. However, some express frustration over newly implemented camping fees and the lack of clear signage regarding these changes.

"Castle Provincial Park is my favourite spot to camp in Alberta (so far). Our site backed onto the river and we could hear the waterfall and sit our chairs directly beside the water. There are amazing views and great spots to walk. The campground is new and well-taken care of, the non-reserve sites are probably the best for views and river access. Note that there isn’t cell service so you’ll be off grid, a welcome change for some."

MVK

"Enjoyed the small waterfall that is just a short distance from the parking area."

Greg Arason

"A gorgeous provincial park with lots of trails and camp sites"
