#FAQFriday Q: What should I get dad for Father’s Day? A: Ties are popular. Socks? A t-shirt*? Or maybe a day at the Great War Flying Museum! And if dad doesn’t get his fill in one day, you can leave him here! (that is to say, he can join the museum as an associate member) If he’s brave enough, that can include an unforgettable flight in the observer’s seat of our Sopwith 1½ Strutter biplane. ...

"Best tour guides ever, I went on a Sunday and they were so helpful and knowledgeable, definitely will be visiting again"

"What a hidden gem! Hands down the best museum experience I've ever had! The museum is run by retired enthusiasts who care deeply about the history of WWI. Each volunteer had their own expertise knowledge on different subjects and were more than happy to share it with us. They walked us through aircraft engineering, stories about their parents and grandparents in the wars, and shared their own stories as well. The artifact museum was curated with items that all have a different story linking them to the war and the gentleman who setup it up took us through a guided tour that was incredible. It's a small place but we spent 2 hours listening to theses wonderful stories and learning about how things were done back in the early 1900s. Truly great experience and worth every penny of the small admission fee. If you are a history buff, the Great War Flying Museum is a must see! The true kicker and sweetest part is that when I told them in was my son's birthday and he wanted to see this place, they let him sit in the cockpit of the German plane! So kind and thoughtful! Thank you gentlemen for making our experience truly incredible!"
