Are there any good beaches in or around Durham region (don't mind a bit of a drive). Looking for ones that are clean and good for swimming to take my toddler
The nicest options near Durham are Coburg Beach, or Bluffers Park Beach. Both have large sandy beaches, and tend to have very good water quality. Bluffers Park is lifeguarded as well. Paradise Beach in Ajax is a nice park area, but a much smaller actual beach and rather rocky.
