Harrison hot springs worth it?
I go there fairly often and just came back from the resort yesterday: Pros: 1. Low key and chill. If you stay in the Resort, it's easy to throw on a bathrobe, get in an elevator and walk into a pool, hot tub, hot springs 2. Old person friendly but also segregated so the…

Harrison Hotsprings Overnight Trip - Any Advice?
I've been to Harrison many times. The only way to access the hot springs is to stay at the Harrison Hot Springs Hotel. Its overpriced and not that nice, but it's the only option. They no longer do the spa day pass. The other hotels are nice, I stayed in an air b and b last time…

"i didnt camp, however i definitely would. sites look clean, quite and maintained. lavatory is maintained too.
family friendly, pet friendly
the lake is stunning, even on ‘busy’ days you can find a place to get away from most people.
maybe avoid the main beach where moms frequently allow their children to run nude. if i had a dime every time its happened id have 3 dimes. its not a lot but its weird its happened that many times
good place to avoid motor boats, smelly people (iykyk) and most crowds"

"We Drove the Gravel road all the way up to Deer lake and pulled into the day use area up at the lake! I jumped out to take the view in and even forgot to lock my car!
Nice grassy patch with picnic benches where a picnic would be perfect even have a place for your stove / bbq
We walked around to the right side of the lake over the wooden board walk and found a nice looped trail.
The campsite looked lovely and busy for this time of year! No tents yet tho just RV / caravans.
Can use electric motor boats here and can fish if you have a licence.
Lots of kayaks and canoes on the beach just wish I had bought my Canoe with me.
It doesn’t take long to get here from Harrison and the gravel road isn’t bad at all.
Have fun"

"Most people go to hicks lake, but if you want a much smaller lake with less people its the nicer spot. This lack of people may also be why we seem to see more wildlife out and about at this lake. Has a small dock to launch a canoe or kayak from. Be aware as of August 18th the water level is very low and does restrict the ability to launch from the dock. Fishing for the kids is also great, as it is well stocked, sadly the low level also makes it hard to cast from the dock.
They also allow electric motors if you don't want to paddle.
Lastly, the lake also has picnic tables with stove attachments so bring your small cooking device of choice (ie hibachi or bbq)."
