"A Perfect Beach Day with Seriously Good Snacks
I spent the afternoon at this beach recently, and it was honestly one of the best low-key getaways I’ve had in a while. If you show up around low tide, the beach really opens up with lots of soft sand, space to spread out, and no crowds, which was such a nice change. The kids loved playing in the warm tide pools!
One of the biggest highlights was the little farmstead food booth near the beach. I wasn’t expecting much, but the food completely blew me away. Everything’s made with organic ingredients, and the prices are super reasonable, especially considering the quality.
The salted caramel scones were unreal,
buttery, just the right amount of sweet and salty, and still warm when we got them. Then we tried the ice cream sandwiches, which were a huge hit. My daughter can’t have dairy, so we were so happy to see they had a vegan version. She absolutely loved it. It’s rare she gets to enjoy a treat like that without having to settle for a bland substitute.
We also grabbed a bag of fresh plums, which tasted like they were picked that morning, and a couple of soft pretzels that were chewy, salty, and totally satisfying. Even our dog got spoiled with one of the adorable dog pawsicles they had on offer.
The whole vibe was just easy and relaxed. The beach was clean, not overcrowded, and it felt like one of those rare spots where everyone in the family, even the pup, was taken care of.
Definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area. Just come hungry!"
