What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the breathtaking views and the unique experience of walking Canada's longest suspension bridge. The well-maintained trails and friendly staff are frequently praised. However, some find the admission price a bit steep, and those with a severe fear of heights might find it challenging, though many manage it with determination.
"A gorgeous hike and views of the canyon! I'm glad we made the stop while driving through the area. The staff was friendly and organized. The trails were well-maintained and easy. However, there is a bit of a climb to get to the bridges and lots of stairs to go down for those with limitations. If you do have limitations, the staff will drive you up to the bridges!
🫣 If you're afraid of heights, you can do it! Just don't look down. I'm terrified but it was still worth the views. I just walked across and got photos before and after. It's still a great experience!

"This place is close to an hour from Thunderbay. If you are planning to visit, prepare for the weather. Bring in bottled water, sunscreen, hiking shoes, hat/cap etc. If you are bringing in kids with you, please keep a closer eye on them. The hike is at the least 40 to 60 minutes. But if you like to stop by and take pictures, then it will definitely be longer for you. It is a no drone flying zone.
If you are afraid of heights then avoid the bridge. Because if there is wind, it sways the bridge pretty well.
The view from the top of the canyon and from the top of the bridge is breathtaking.
I believe its a family owned business. The trails are well maintained, with clear directions and clean.
When it comes to the tickets, if felt it was a bit on the expensive side. Adult tickets are 23. Kids tickets are 16 dollars. And you can get the tickets on arrival and all adults have to sign a waiver [Release of Responsibility] which makes you basically accountable for anything you encounter at this properly. You basically travel at your own risk. For me this makes no sense as they charge a significant entry fee for everyone except for pets and less than 4 year old. For this reason only I will give a less rating."

"Visited Eagle Canyon Adventures in Sep 2023 and had a memorable experience. The suspension bridges—especially Canada’s longest—offered breathtaking views of the canyon and surrounding forest. The trails were well-maintained and safe, and the bridges felt sturdy and secure. It’s a great spot for nature lovers and photographers.
A few things to keep in mind: the entrance fee is a bit steep, and the road leading in is rough, so plan accordingly, the natural beauty and uniqueness of the bridges make it worth the visit.
Would definitely recommend for a day trip from Thunder Bay, especially if you're looking for a scenic adventure!"
