What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the stunning turquoise water and dramatic limestone cliffs of Elora Quarry, calling it a beautiful and refreshing escape. While the beauty is undeniable, some find the entry and parking fees a bit steep for the size of the area, and booking in advance is a must. Overall, it's a highly recommended spot for a memorable summer day trip.
"First time going here, heard lots of great things so well camping at the conservation area we wanted to check it out. We were not disappointed. We spent a few hours here swimming hiking, etc. they have a small sandy Beach but we went midweek and it wasn’t very busy. The water is unbelievable, temperature is just right. You can bring a floating device, but it needs to be small personal floaty. You can easily float around the entire quarry and if you’re up to it, you can swim across to the other side lots of cliffs and whatnot lots of little spots where you can jump in the water, I can trail small but it definitely is a cool thing to check out when you’re here"

"We went early on a sunny blue sky day to see the turquoise(opens @10am) before the water gets merky from swimmers. Must purchase parking ($15) and adult passes ($11) online, u get 4hrs. Bring a floaty (can't be bigger than personal use) and float around and enjoy the amazing view. Recommend going on least busy days. We went Mon and it was perfect!"

"Really enjoyed this place.
The only cons are that it was a far drive for me, but that's subjective to where you live.
Other than that, beautiful spot, great water, not overly crowded
Please note you have to book in advance online
The water was perfect in August.
There isn't much in terms of trails and hiking; it's more for a beach, relaxation, and swimming area.
No complaints from me. Would definitely go again."
