What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Eskers Provincial Park is highly praised for its beautiful kettle lakes, well-maintained trails, and serene natural environment. Visitors appreciate the varied terrain suitable for casual hikes and the abundant facilities like benches and clean outhouses. Some find the trails can be slick after rain and advise caution with wildlife.
"This is one of my favorite areas to go. Great network of lakes and trails. Easy to get to, easy to navigate as there's a sign/map at almost every junction. Clean, stocked outhouses, numerous benches along the trails, as well as educational signage. Just be sure to stick to the trails as there's lots of Devil's Club and make sure to wear good footwear because the trails get quite slick when the rain rolls in."
Kyle Tkachuk
"Beautiful trails. Nice variety of terrain with enough hills to exert yourself but not too steep for a casual hike.
Even in the cold, the views are great. We'll be back when the snow falls too."
Heidi Booth
"These small bodies of water, known as kettle lakes, were formed 10 000 years ago when glaciers retreated, leaving behind glacial chunks. As the chunks melted they left behind circular depressions that the lakes fill."
