Visitors generally appreciate Fredericton City Hall and Phoenix Square for their historic charm and picturesque features like the clock tower and fountain. However, some reviews point to negative experiences with city services, particularly regarding parking enforcement and customer service at City Hall, which can detract from the overall positive impression.

"Very nice city hall — has a nice fountain and a great grandfather clock. Clock isn’t too big but the tower has nice structure. Attached below are photos of the City Hall Clock Tower and the fountain. Overall, this is a five-star place because of the cool structure."

"The person working was rude, I came to pay my parking ticket and asked about the note on the back and she was speaking to me very condescendingly to me. Kept making the same remark of I’ve never seen it go down before. I simply asked a question about it, I wasn’t arguing for a discount was merely curious. She claimed there wasn’t a note and discounts didn’t exist. Then explained to me I had a parking ticket like I didn’t understand. Picture of the note included. I was still respectful and just didn’t say anything and paid and left. I wanted to ask other questions but it seemed like I would just be met with more scorn."
